So, I'm not yet engaged, but I am expecting the proposal very soon! My boyfriend and I want to go ahead and start planning our wedding so that we can let our large number of out-of-town guests know what to plan for. We have been toying with the idea of having our wedding on Memoral Day weekend 2012 so as to allow our out-of-towners (mostly his family) an extra day to travel. However, I'm concerned because it is usually more expensive to travel that weekend. What do you guys think? Is it better to allow an extra day for travel, or does the increased travel expense outweigh any potential benefit? Help!!
