We are about 4 months away from our wedding date. We're having a destination wedding and FI and I have compiled some information to send to our guests (prior to invitations) that includes information about local attractions, hotel information, rental car/airport shuttle discount codes, our hotel block code, and details about the three airports our guests should research in planning their trips.

Since everyone will be OOT, everyone is invited to the RD. We're not sure if we should include our itinerary for the week and the RD invite with this packet of information, or if we should wait until we get our RSVPs back. We want to give our guests as much information as possible that will help them plan their trips, but I'm not sure when the itinerary and RD invitation traditionally goes out.

Well, I think then you should send out invites soon if its a DW.  If they have to plan a vacation and days off, they should be given enough notice.  Then send the info 1 month prior.

I would do Save-the-Dates now, actual invitations soon and after you get your replies back, send RD invites and an itinerary out.

I'd only send them now if the RD is at a weird time/day. If it's the night before, people will expect that. And if they can make it, they'll make it. Depending on where they are coming from they might not have a choice about when they get in if they are coming the day before the wedding. If your wedding is a Sunday and the RD is Friday, maybe give them a heads up.

I'd send all the info at the same time since it could make a difference as to what dates people choose to stay. I'd hate to make a plane reservation and then find there was an event that I would have liked to attend but can't.

Yeah, I agree! We're getting married on a Saturday, but the RD is not actually the NIGHT before, but the afternoon before - around 1-ish.

I think I'll send it all out at once! Thank you!
