Sorry, dude. I got a little busy, but this is what I whipped up.
When I started losing weight I never thought there would be,
A supporter so wonderful as our leader Lori.
You’ve been there for my successes and for my down times, too,
And it’s with this clever poem that I would like to thank you.
Since joining weight watchers, life is sweeter than roses!
But I’m sure you already knew that while doing your spine twisting poses.
Not everything we’ve done has been straight from the book,
But I knew if you could do it, I could too! You don’t even cook!
So I counted my points and you’ve kept me in line,
Even when you were probably in your recliner with a full glass of wine.
I’ve discovered new ways of living, and even after I’ve wed,
I’m excited for the challenges and excitement that lie up ahead.
So while I’ve been getting ready to strut my hot stuff down the aisle,
I’m constantly reminded of how all of this work was worthwhile.
So I’m going to say this once, and believe it, it’s true,
This couldn’t be possible without the help of you!
