florida wedding

If you have a destination wedding, do we pay for the guests's hotel?

Re: florida wedding

  • You don't have to but it would certainly be nice of you to do if you can afford it.
  • Nope. I mean it would be super nice if you did, but you aren't required to. We aren't paying for ours.

  • Nope not at all. I have seen a wedding though where the bride's parents did pay for the guests room, and it was crazy nice of them. 20 rooms at $85 times two nights (all OOT guests were invited to the RD) came out to a pretty penny!

  • Either way, definitely try to get a group rate at local hotels, as well as hotel recommendations for guests. I don't think anyone expects their rooms paid for, but it would be a reaaally nice touch.
