So, how are things going for everyone this weekend? Any plans for tonight?

I just went out to the mall for a bit and holy moly. There is nothing left. The stores here basically clear out their inventory before they bring in the new stuff so they were all kind of empty.

This may be a bit of a P&R. We're about to go get Fi's Grandmas truck to bring some stuff to the new house and finish putting up the blinds. Then we'll return the truck and stay for the superbowl.

Morning! It's been a pretty busy weekend here. I was in major cleaning-mode on Friday night. I finally went and got my hair cut yesterday and topped it off with a manicure in preparation for this afternoon's e-pics. 

No plans for tonight, maybe some laundry if I can motivate myself. I do enjoy clean sheets on Sunday night. It's one of the smalls joys of life

Me either. My entire Superbowl experience consists of driving FI to and from his dad's place so they can "have man fun." FFIL's words - not mine.

We're having a few friends over to watch the super bowl too.  Don't care about it either except the commericals.  The puppy bowl is pretty dang cute too.  It is fun to eat lots of junk food though!  Guess I need to go running first to balance out the calories.

I need to force myself to do some more unpacking today before watching the game.  I'm just staying here to watch it myself and will have some junkfood.  I don't care either way who wins, but I like that it's a rematch of Manning and Brady.

I like watching men in tight pants. And commercials--I like the commercials. The actual game, though, does not interest me, even though there are two local guys playing.

I forgot to get rolls for the meatball hoagies. I have to run back out to the store, and I'm anticipating a madhouse.

Well, if it didn't start at 1am for us, and if there were friends to watch it with, and junkfood to eat, it would be a different story. But we can't even see the commercials so... it's pretty much pointless unless you care about the teams.

I don't really care too much who wins the game but I'm kind of rooting for the Giants (they took the Packers out of the playoffs, so that's only acceptable if they win the whole thing in my mind - what logic LOL).  I'm probably going to run out around 5 for a pizza and a dozen wings to enjoy while I watch alone at home.

Morning!  I'm getting a little nervous for our race next weekend.  I couldn't even finish my run today because my knee hurt so bad.  It didn't hurt on Friday, so I'm hoping next Sunday will be one of the good days.  Damn temperamental knee.  

I still need to go the store and get stuff to put a veggie plate together so I have something semi healthy to go with all of the beer I'll be drinking.

Good luck getting a quick pizza and wing order Loopy!  When I waitressed and bartended at a pizzeria for 6 years Super Bowl Sunday was always one of the busiest nights of the year (and Halloween) and it would take forever to get orders.  I stocked up on some frozen pizza and a few other snacks for the night.  

Snips what do they play during the game then, just regular Swedish commercials?

Um, sometimes we get Swedish commercials, but what we normally get are Sweater Boy and Robot Man. Aka, the Swedish NFL announcers. They.are.terrible. They talk during every break. I wish I had pictures of them because you can't understand the awesomeness. The younger guy (Sweater Boy) wears a button down cardigan and a dress shirt every sunday.

Haha I've been thinking about it for a while but of course never when I was at the computer ready to google.  I can't wait to read it!  And then of course talk with just you about it since nobody else gets it.  

I think I might run to the store to get some stuff to make a few more snacks, and maybe even a small thing of chicken wing dip for myself.  I definitely need to make small portions though as I'm the only one here and could easily gain 10 pounds if not.

I have two coworkers throwing separate parties, so I have to decide which one I want to go to. I'm actually interested in the game, and of course, the commercials! I'm going for the Giants, only because I hate the Pats, and the Packers (my team) and the Niners are both out. Kind of a fallback option. FI is a Pats fan, so tonight should be interesting. I'm hoping to win some money tonight, ha.

I am so not good at lazy sundays. I feel like I should be doing something, but the house is clean and all of the laundry is done. Superbowl snacks are already ready. I guess I will just watch HGtv and f around on pinterest. I apologize to anyone who follows me on there, I am on house overdrive.

H and I have talked more seriously about building on my family's land. Which means we would be able to afford a bigger/nicer house as we wouldn't have to buy land. But then we would be tasked with the up keep of the 50 or so acres we have. So I dunno. Exciting stuff though

That is exciting Rosie!  What's the land look like?  Is it all cleared land that you would have to mow, or can you let most of it do its own thing?  Also, can you build me a barn so I can bring my horses up there?  They would love 50 acres to play on.  Sorry that was a lot of questions.  I just did a NROLFW workout and it took 75 minutes.  I think I'm a little woozy.

Farm land. Mostly flat My dream growing up was to have horses and we have the perfect set up for it, but it never happened I think H is envisioning some grapes being planted as he is dying to try and make his own wine. I think I might go for a walk and stare around dreaming for a bit.

I'm counting down the minutes before I head downtown to pick up H so we can tailgate for the game about a block from the stadium.  Indy has been awesome this week!  Go Giants! Most everyone is pulling for "little brother" around here
