Evening Thread!

Re: Evening Thread!

• So FI's bag was just wiped by 2 different airport people. I asked what they were looking for and they said explosives. FI told me to not be difficult with them. I'm just a friendly and curious girl.

• Well, that's exciting, Petal.

Are they doing that to lots of people, or just your FI?
• Everyone. It's a little busy and crazy. I hate this airport (Orlando). Time to turn off the phone. Bye ladies.

• MyUserName1, everytime I see your signature I can't help but wonder what your costume is supposed to be. So much to the point that it bothers me now and I just have to ask what it is! Enlighten me Laughing

• I've been running a pretty normal amount in general, but the other night I did a short fast one which I don't normally do. And I sort of feel like walking around yesterday in flats with no support may not have helped.

I was fitted for my running shoes at the running store, and I have custom orthotics in there that are about a month old. I do have a nagging arch issue - that's why I got the orthotics.

I can't figure out what the body part is called (googling foot anatomy images), but it's whatever is in between the achilles tendon and the plantar fascia. (?)

<div>I was too. I figure that mine aren't super comfortable when I'm not running because they were fitted specifically for my running style. Unless the discomfort happens exclusively when running. That usually happens depending on the socks that I wear.</div>
In Response to Re: Evening Thread! :  Do you run a lot?
Posted by edielaura
My usual route is 3.5 miles - I'd say I average out to about 4 days a week. Although I slacked big time last week.

Silver - Balga socks are my favorite. Love them.
• Also, it has been bugging me all day, ever since last night. I'd hoped it would calm down today, but it hasn't.

I just wish I knew what the heck this is, so I'd know whether or not it's something to freak out over.
• Hi! It's still 2 here, but I'm home bored and sick. My dog has asked to go outside 700 billion times today and it's getting old. Mica, Fox whines when I close the bathroom door and it's super obnoxious. I just don't close it anymore.
• I have no advice whatsoever, Daff.

If you ever see me running, you'd best start running too.  Because you don't want whatever is chasing me to get you instead.

I hope it gets better on its own quickly.
• Awww, Erin, I'm sorry the crud got you for the Holidays.

I hope you feel better soon too :(

Maybe the orthotics aren't quite the proper fit? I get fitted for my running shoes as well but occasionally I do have to take them back to trade for a different pair. Not sure about the store that you go to but where I go allows a 3 month trial period.

I'm a little depressed about this but I am hoping to kick it by tomorrow! I've places to go and people to see.

That's the plan. I just feel totally helpless until at least Monday.

MUN, lol

Yeah, I'm not sure about the orthotics, to be honest. I've already had them adjusted once because I hated them at first.
• Erin,
Autumn has wanted to go out a ton today too.  And she doesn't do anything but bark at stuff and be annoying out there, so then I'm annoyed.

I'm gonna go work out and take a shower.  Then I've got a Christmas party to go to.  Not sure how late I'm staying at the Christmas party though, so I might be back later... we'll see how it goes.

If I don't see you all again this weekend, have a Merry Christmas! (Happy Holidays.. blah blah blah).
• And Fox is asking to go out again. I guess I will throw his frisbee a few times and see if he just wants to play. Have a wonderful time at the party Loopy and have a fabulous dinner Edie!
• Liatris, yep! He is a big baby and needs tons of attention. I think tonight would be a great night to watch a Christmas movie. Food sounds good too seeing as I haven't eaten yet today.
• So...to defend myself to the people talking shiit about me in FFF or just let it go?
• FWIW, I got a second opinion on people I wasn't too sure about. I wasn't trying to make anyone feel bad or anything. Sorry :/
• Okay, I'm glad there's not hard feelings there then.
• Evening.  Apparently me taking a nap meant that I was done for the night and on my own for dinner.  I'm hungry and cranky.  Not a good combo.

• aleigh, were you the one selecting who participated in the SS?

If so, it might have come across that I was talking shiit, but if so, it was me badly phrasing things.  I honestly thought that it was a shiit job but that somoene has to do it.
• Seems to be something in the air in the puppy dog world tonight.  Helmut (aka Sir Barks Alot) just wants to go in and out, and in and out tonight also.  Crazy boy.  He also keeps going under the tree and pulling his presents out.  I had to put them up on a shelf.  Silly Silly Golden.

<div>I didn't think you knew who I was, so I didn't bother.  I was a little bummed because there were some other people who actually knew who I was who probably would have vouched for me.  I wasn't pissed that you did it or anything, I don't want it to come across that way, sorry if it did.  I just didn't want to cause any drama or hurt feelings (on my end).</div>
