The Event?

Is literally making me want to yank my brain out of my head, scramble it around a bit, put it back in and see if it makes any more sense.

My head hurts.

Is anyone else attempting to watch this?

Yeah, I don't know if the next episode isn't better I think I may just quit watching. I like mystery but this just isn't keeping my interest.

I haven't yet I think out of protest because they cancelled Flash Forward and I loved that show. However, I'll probably try to catch it on Hulu. :-/

You're not alone.  I watched the first episode and this one and I haven't a clue about anything

First, I thought the plane was blown out of the sky (part 1)  but now it's in a desert like (Afganistan?) place.

AND!? I don't think it has anything to do with being smart, it's just really, really poorly written.

It wants to be Lost or something, and it isn't. And it's attempt at impersonation is horrible.

And I didn't even watch Lost.

We watched the first episode since H wanted to watch it, but the 2nd episode hasn't started here yet.  I thought it was alright, but I hate how much it jumps around.  Don't know if I want to watch tonights episode now.  Hmmm...

I'm actually a huge fan of Castle and thats on at the same time.  I'll DVR the eent to watch it tomorrow maybe.

You ever have that kind of gum that like... breaks apart in your mouth the more you chew it? And the more you try to put it together the worse it gets? It's like that only with TV.

It looked too much like a mixture between lost and flash forward for me to even be interested. I really don't want to spend time watching another spinoff of something you can't easily follow.

Oh, haha.  If you were, I would probably be convinced that we were long lost twins.  You should check out Castle.  As your previously know I have an obsession with Law & Order SVU, so its kinda like that but with sexual tension.  I love it.

I wish the Bills were a good team.  For the time being I guess I'll cheer for the Seahawks.  In another year or 2 our local team will be split between the Redskins and the Falcons.  I can't deal with all these changes!  The Bills will always have my heart though, even though they rip it out and stomp on it week after wek, year after year.

Ooh, yeah thats hard.  I'm a Sabres fan also which is difficult too, but I've been a Yankees fan my whole life so thats always my only hope for my teams.

Hmm, not much.  I have no life out here since I don't know anyone.  I have dont a good job catching up on missed TV though thanks to OnDemand.  And, I've been DVR-ing Starz movies that I want to see so I don't have to even leave and go to the video store (total laziness I know).  I'm on the hunt right now for some rec sports leagues to join out here.  At home I played on soccer, softball, touch football, and volleyball leagues, so now I'm dying for a team to play on.

What's new with you?  I saw in another post of yours that the mystery kitty is back.  You should just let it in your home!

Ooh I love cruises!  I've been on 5, and we are planning an Alaskan cruise for our "honeymoon" after H gets back from deployment.  So tell me about the cuise?  What cruise line, and where are you going?  Maybe I can give some tips!  Maybe I'll crash in on your trip...

This is our first cruise!  We are doing a southern caribbean on celebrity.  Ports are: St. Croix, St. Kitts, Dominica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao and Aruba.  It's kinda our delayed honeymoon.  H just got his passport today - he waited and waited to renew it - I told him I was going with or without him, that I would find someone to go with me!

Damn,  I so would have taken his spot!  (That reminds me though that I need to update mine with the married name).  I've never been on a Celebrity, or to any of those ports, so i guess I'm no help.  But I do love cruises, and the are by far my favorite vacation.  How many days is it?  The most I've done was 7 and we didn't want to get off.  The Alaskan one is 7 too.  Maybe we'll just book 2 back to back!

11 nights - i'm kinda nervous, just since we haven't done one before.  

I just updated mine, but I'm an idiot and somehow filled the form out wrong, so they sent it back for me to redo,  oops.
