My best friend is getting married in June and has been asking for a list from her FMIL for months now. She finally got it last night, scribbled down on a sheet of paper. 23 people listed Mrs. So&so Smith and Family.....no spouse names or children or even number of people in that family.....even her single mother is listed like that. WTF? This woman has been trying to do little things to drive my bestie crazy and she just might succeed before it is all over with. Most of them her FI doesn't even know. FMIL is not paying for anything, so WWYD? I told her to just invite the people that her and FI want to have there. She shouldn't have to cut close friends or family just to fit these people in. Just wanted to get some additional opinions.
