Anyone around?  

Two more days with my MIL and she's working today and we've got running around to do tomorrow.  I can make it through this.  Although I may toss the effing bed she's put us in out the window on my way out the door.

Morning.  L.  How're you doing today?  Why she put the pregnant lady and H in a double bed when BIL sleeps in a queen and she sleeps in a King (not that I would kick her out of her own bed... but when we decided to stay with her and not in a hotel it was because she said she'd put us in BIL's queen while we were here) is beyond me.  And I guess she yelled at H this morning cause we went through and organized the gifts from the shower last night and put aside stuff we need to return (we got some duplicates, and some are too awkward to pack or big to ship when we have receipts and can return/repurchase) because she wanted to see them.  We left them all out for her to look at, but apparently she wanted to know what was from whom and figure out how much everyone spent so she can judge and reciprocate accordingly when it's her turn to go to their events or something.  But frankly, I feel like it's none of her business so I was a biittch and went stealth after she went to bed last night... haha.

Ha.. Hi KD  Next time we may very well stay in a hotel.  We'll have a baby in tow, and with a double bed, three tables, an old school box style tv on the floor (???) two dressers, a bookshelf and a desk in her little guest room there's barely room for our luggage, much less a pack n' play or anything else.

That's what we did with the wedding gifts Liatris.  She was the same way then.  

I'm off to run errands and stuff.  Have a good day.  Thanks for reporting those vendors yesterday.  I deleted the threads when I was on last night and posted links to the mod forum for KL to hopefully ban the OP's.

Morning all (few?)... our photographer finally posted our "sneek peak" on FB, even though all of the photos have been posted to their website for two or three weeks already. So now I'm still waiting (impatiently) for our disc of photos so I can finally get prints made.

For those in the morning thread yesterday, we got good news on kitty. Radiologist overturned the emergency vet's assessment of the radiographs, and he does not have any broken toes! YAY! So he only needs to be in his splints/cast through the end of this week (instead of for the next 8-10 weeks). I'm so relieved.

Loopy - sorry about your MIL and accomodations. That's really not okay.

Morning all! I'm on a very turbulent flight right now, but very glad to be getting out of town. Loopy- sorry about the bed and the MIL. It's almost over Kb- glad you got the good news on kitty.

I agree with PP - I have always hated staying with other people. I'd pick a hotel anyday. And yes Loopy, there's no way three of you plus your stuff would fit in a room like that.

When we go back to the island during the summer we get to use FSILs house because she's traveling for work all summer and likes to have her house lived in while she's gone. It's the best of both worlds. I wouldn't survive staying with either my mom or FMIL for any amount of time.
