How do I fix this?

My FFIL called a few weeks ago b/c FI's aunts got their shower invitations but FSMIL hadn't. I called my BM to confirm that an invitation was sent and then told FFIL that it was and should be there any day now. 

Talked to FFIL today and FSMIL still hasn't received her invitation. I double checked the list that I put together at my BMs request and realized that I put the wrong address down for FSMIL! The shower is in 3 weeks. 

FSMIL is socially awkward and VERY easily offended. Do I explain the mistake when we're at their house for dinner on Tuesday or do I get an extra invitation from my BM (who I'm having dinner with tonight) and mail it ASAP?

She is kind of BSC so either way she'll probably be pissy. Help!

Oh, yes that's a much better suggestion. Hopefully dinner won't be too awkward.

I agree - call now and apologize for the mix up, then bring the invitation when you see her.  I accidentally gave my shower hostess a friend's old address - they recently moved.  It took an extra week or so for USPS to forward it and whatever.  I felt awful, since no slight was intended to these friends.

I actually did the same thing.

I accidently left MIL off my shower invite list and didn't realize until she said how weird it was that H's grandma had gotten her invite. 

I told her I was having one sent out ASAP but we also weren't seeing her soon. MIL is kind of like you're FSMIL sounds. As long as you didn't do it on purpose you have nothing to worry about.
