Designs by Ahn Florist / Manzanita

Has anyone used or heard of Designs by Ahn?  We have met with them and love what they showed us but wanted to see if there is any feedback or if anyone has any pictures of their work?  Their website has amazing examples of their work as well.

Has anyone use manzanita trees as their centeripiece?  Is it a good idea or does it make the room look very bare?  My venue has a grand ballroom with high ceiling - and our theme is black and white - recommendations?  We're thinking of doing half manzanita and half tall white floral centerpieces.

Don't know them but i've seen the manzanatta trees with flower balls attached to the branches, hanging candles and then a full floral in the container.   It looked great.  Not sure where you are having it - are you renting or buying?

The wedding is going to be held at the Rockleigh in Rockleigh, NJ - it is a gorgeous venue and the ballroom is stunning.  At the wedding you saw, were the Manzanitas on every table?  My concern is that they won't fill the room or be flowery enough - we're getting married in September, so I want the beautiful manzanita branch look but not a wintery look - a mix of the flowers, crystals, and hanging candles would be ideal.

We would be renting them from the florist - I don't know if I can be bothered with trying to buy them and shipping them - I read somewhere that they're very expensive and difficult to ship, etc.

I haven't used Designs by Ahn, but I have heard of them, and I heard good things about them. A co-worker of mine used them for her wedding, and she said they produce great work! As far as manzanita trees, I think they look great for winter weddings, and I don't feel they look bar as long as you decorate them in some way!

Good luck with all your wedding plans! Hope everything works out well!!

We will be having all Manzanita trees as our centerpieces in the ballroom - they will have white and ivory hydrangeas, orchids, dendrobium leis, hanging candles, and hanging crystals.  We were originally going to do a much bigger, more intense Manzanita for our Escort Card table, but I am thinking now it is too similar to the ballroom centerpieces and will ruin the big surprise for the ballroom space.  Do you have any suggestions/pictures for the Escort Card Table?  Would Manzanita be too much for that as well?

Our colors are Black and White (our floral design is all white and ivory flowers)

    Thanks!!! :)
