Don't know if you remember, but I complained to you about my mom wanting to use quilting fabric on the tables (in lieu of renting table overlays).

Well, thank goodness it turned out that she was talking about something else entirely.  She thought that I meant something in the center of the table for the centerpiece to sit on.  (See below).  After hearing what my idea really was (using rented overlays), she agreed that it looked good.  I'm not sure she went as far as to say better, but I WON!!  My reception will not be like "Little House on the Prairie"

I know you were losing sleep over this BIG DILEMMA!

MP, I was honestly. I sat up all last night, tossing and turning over this situation. I was honestly going to call your mom and demand she not go all Little House on the Prairie on your wedding.

P.S.  I don't think you overreacted in the chit-chat callout.  That was ridiculous!!

P.P.S.  Where are you in TN?  My fiance is from Oak Ridge, so we go a lot.  Go Vols!!

Oh wow yes, the overlay is way better. I can get on board with that runner thingy, but the overlay is much, much nicer. What's the story behind your table names?

P.P.S. I'm from closer to Memphis, so I am rarely in the middle TN area! Which makes me a sad panda, as I love Knoxville and Nashville and Clarksville.

We're naming the tables after landmarks special to us (i.e Fenway Park, Neyland Stadium).

I've never been to Memphis, just driven through it.  Oh, and watched that "Policewomen" show.  It takes place in Memphis, and it looks like a dangerous place.  STAY SAFE!!

Girl you couldn't pay me to Memphis. I live about an hour and a half away, because it is such a dangerous place. But it's the nearest big city so that's what I always say I'm near. I used to love Memphis; amazing shopping and food and the zoo is awesome. But the crime has gotten so bad, it's sad. Such a great city that is on its knees right now. Me and LVB went for a bridal show, and I was like dude, lock the doors and keep the GPS out of the car.

But if you are ever in the area, page me It's not a bad drive and we could definitely meet up!
