is it rude to have the bride greet her side of the family and the groom greet his at the reception? i hear receiving lines are a no no for big weddings so youre supposed to visit tables. i went to a wedding last year where they visited their own sides which i didnt think anything of until now... im not sure i would even feel comfotable with that since id like to thank everyone but i also hear how the day just flies by so i want to have the reception as stress frree and in all reality id just like to have fun. any advice of how to make the greetings not take up a whole lot of time? were going to have a coctail hour but id like a little unwind time for just me and my fi then.
