Hi All - my fiance and I are planning to get our marriage license and perform our marriage ceremony in NYC this week. I understand that there is a 24 hour waiting period from the time you get your license to the time you can have your marriage ceremony - this can be waived if you get a judicial waiver. Does anyone know the likelihood of getting a judge to waive the waiting period? What is the criteria for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
