If a friend is having a bachelorette in the style of going out on the town and dinner and I want to give her a gift, is it acceptable to grab a household item off her registry or should it be something more along the tone of a gift "just for her?"
I really don't want to get lingerie since I personally just find picking it out for other people strange.
