I used to post a bit on here over a year ago, SN was novascotiavalleybride. Any how, my date is suddenly looming fast ahead and I came back to start doing my major planning.
I miss the old P&E board and see some of the old names, congrats to the regs who are now "Mrs."
So now that's out of the way, I feel the last couple days have been very productive planning wise. I found an awesome compromise for FI and I to both get what we want for the perfect wedding, it's a great location where we can have both the ceremony and reception at the same place, which I wanted, and we can have the outdoor wedding FI wants. Plus, it's just in our price range, and will help eliminate some other costs by having it all in one place, so really it woiuld be silly not to check it out. We're going out to see it next weekend.
Oh, and if anyone remembers my post from a week or so ago about the after 7 wedding and no sit down meal? I was looking at a local wedding website and saw a friend of mine was listed as a caterer, so I meesaged her on FB, and asked if it was really her, because I was looking for a caterer. She said yes, asked if it was for my wedding, and said she could get me a very good deal. For a buffet for our max head count, it would be a good $1200 less than the cheapest caterer I had seen listed!
So yeah, I feel like I have really got the ball rolling
