Hi Sun! Nothing major planned today. A the deadline for a project that I've been working on has been delayed, so I'm going to take a much needed mental vacation.

He's doing much better, thanks. Whatever it was (maybe reaction to ant bites?) seems to have mostly passed now. He's almost back to himself.

Morning! I am headed to shadow the teacher I'm about to take over for, which means sitting on my butt all day and not getting paid. I'm about to scream at my mom for getting on to me for "taking a day off" yesterday. Yeah, I didn't go to a job, but I was on my hands and knees scrubbing our new place from top to bottom. Some "day off."

Good morning all!  My H is out of town so I slept in a bit this morning and came in a little later to work.  I'm allowed to do that but he's not and since we carpool, I never get to do it! 

Tonight I'm going on a mini-road trip with one of my closest girlfriends to see a Brandi Carlile concert, so that should be a lot of fun!  I'm going to leave work a little early I think to pack us some snacks and get ready.  Yay Friday!

Im so glad this week is almost over. I had my first bridezilla-y slip last night.. kid of like a Freudian slip.

FI and I were discussing whether we should send invitations to Romania. He thinks people would be mad because we all know that a plane ticket is like twice their yearly income and it might look gift grabby because we know they can't come. I feel like we should because if they COULD afford it, we would love to see them.. he said no. I said, "Well then, I guess we won't send them an INVOICE".. shiit, I meant to say invite...

I think we both laughed for like 30 minutes. Its important to note that I am an accountant , so invoice is part of my daily vocabulary.. I had to tell him about the chick on stfumarrieds yesterday.. LOL

Good morning...I'm happy it's Friday, but I'm already in a horrible mood. FI went out with a few of his work friends last night and came home at 2 am way drunk...walked into our room, said "hey" and ran into the bathroom to puke. I spent the night on the couch and am contemplating being a huge biitch and waking him up while I'm getting ready for work.

Jill, I'm in a foul mood too...busy week, not enough sleep, one of my friends is being annoying, and to top it all off my contacts were crazy painful this morning for some reason, so I'm wearing my glasses which give me a headache. There's no impending weather threatening my power, but our teams are playing eachother. No matter who wins, it'll be a hell of a game.

Morning all! I'm still hanging out in FI's apartment, working on fellowship applications. It's kind of a weird time, because I'm spending all this time looking at maps and guidebooks and writing budgets and itineraries, but I have no idea if I'm actually going to be going on some of these trips. Best case scenario, I spend the early summer driving all over the US doing my dissertation fieldwork, then go to Italy in August, then move to Wisconsin on the fellowship that actually allows me to leave Delaware. Worst case scenario, I sit on my butt in Delaware and eat ramen noodles.

Today at some point I'm going to take a break to go to Target and get Valentine-y things, because FI and I are going to celebrate Valentine's Day next week. I'm actually really looking forward to it.

Good morning everyone - Fish, stay warm and stay inside if you can help it!

I got to spend a pleasurable evening watching a dog go bonkers after eating half a box of Cocoa Puffs and ripping open a 2 pound bag of spaghetti noodles, most of which were in his bed. Then, spent the evening listening to him sigh, whine and howl because he had to sleep in his kennel, since he wouldn't settle down.
Ever seen a puppy on a sugar high? It ain't pretty. I should upload what the spaghetti looked like in his bed.
