Ok, let me start off by saying this. My dad has never ever been there for me or my sister. He hates my mom and step dad and they hate him. Once my dad and step mom found out about the wedding, my dad said because they dont have money (which is pure BS), they will only pay for a $300 cake and hes not going to pay anything else. But when it comes to my 9 year half sister, they buy her WHATEVER she wants NO MATTER the PRICE. And theyre always going on trips and vacations and disneyland and it all adds up to be MORE than $300. You would think that if they can afford LUXURY, they can help to pay a cake and more. But my step mom doesnt want to give money to her husband's daughter's wedding cuz I'm not her REAL DAUGHTER. And as for my step dad. Let's just say he did some "things" with me that he wasnt supposed to do when I was 15 and I told my mom and he convinced her that I lied so I got in trouble. But besides that, he's kinda been there for me more than my dad and he has improved and became a much better parent. He's even helping my mom pay off my wedding dress. Honestly, I dont know who is best to walk me down the aisle and give me away. I was also thinking of having my cousin, Miguel, walk me down because Im closer to him than either father. Please help.
