PIP- does cake need a topper?

This is the cake we've ordered. We weren't planning to use a cake topper, though I've seen some that I loved. Do you ladies think it's best left "as is"?
If you think a topper is needed, what kind?

I think it could go either way actually. I think it's pretty as is, but it wouldn't look too obnoxious or overdone at all if you added a topper or some fresh flowers.

I like it without. But flowers could be pretty too. If you do pick a topper, keep the proportions in mind.

Thanks for all the ideas. My 82 year old grandpa called last night to say he saw a cute cake topper that was a couple in a red convertible lol, He wanted to buy it for us. I tried to explain as nicely as possible that it wouldn't suit the cake.

You could always find another way to use it: as decor or on a cake at the rehearsal dinner or shower. I thought of that because Salt's doing the same thing with one of those bride-dragging-groom cake toppers that her FFIL found hilarious.

I like it as is, bur could also like one of those wire-type initials if you're into that sort of thing.  I dont think I would put flowers, actually...

And I would just put grandpa's car on the table next to the cake
