I haven't read any except for half of the first book, but I think a vampire has Bill, because whoever took him had on leather gloves. I'm thinking it might be Lorena. Maybe Eric.

I picked up the first one on the day of my mom's surgery to pass the time. They're a quick (says me, who hasn't finished the book yet), funny read.

As far as whose got him:  the series is only loosely following the books, so I wouldn't be surprised it's different.

Also - it looks like Crystal Norris is here, too.  That should be fun

Actually I think who has him is going to be exactly like the books, which will be good. And I'm also happy to see Crystal - I really want some Bubba though, funniest character ever.

I have to agree with Alix on this one.  I believe they'll keep it the same, especially after last year's RIDICULOUS side track with fucking maenad.  Blech.

Yeah Alix, I was just looking at the cast list, and I think you're right.

I miss Bubba too.  He's kind of an integral part of this book - I wonder how they're going to do without him.

I do have one question about the books though-does Tara ever show up? Because I know that's she's nowhere to be found in the first book, which is weird since she's such a huge part of the show

Yes she's in book three, but just a side-character, not a big one at all.

Jill - she's not a huge part of the books, at all, really.  And one popular TV character died at the end of book 1.

I LOVED that book. I think it's 4 or 5. It's after Club Dead, that much I remember... I haven't read them in awhile, they all blur together. Is Quinn around when Eric loses his memory? Hmm...

Oh I am so watching tonight!! I can't wait! I think Eric has Bill, maybe he kidnapped him to try and make his southern accent a little more real sounding. (Sorry his accent annoys me b/c it sounds nothing like the real thing). Other than that, I can't wait to see what we have in store for this season. I did hear there is more R rated scenes than previous seasons. I would like to see Sookie break up with Bill and date Eric. He is actually hot!

Oh Yeah...  Quinn.  Hmmm.

I think Quinn was the next book after the one where he looses his memory.  There's witches in the memory storyline, and Quinn's storyline beefs up when she goes down to New Orleans, right?

They all run together for me, too.

And I'm so glad Maryanne is gone.  I was over her after the first few episodes.
