I just wanted to make sure my mom and I are making the right decision re: inviting my two BMs to the shower.
A family friend is hosting my shower in my hometown. BM #1 is a high school friend whose parents live in my hometown in WI (her mom is going to be invited), but who currently lives 1000+ miles away. BM #2 is a college friend who also lives 1000+ miles away and who has no ties to my hometown. Both are students and it is already going to be costly for them to attend my wedding (I live in FL and I'm getting married down here).
Are we okay not inviting them? We don't want them to feel pressured to a) attend or b) send a gift, but we also don't want them to feel left out.
