Send thank you note before the wedding?

My fiance and i have already started recieving gifts for our wedding which is 3 months away, is it ok to start sending thank you notes before the wedding?

Absolutely.  That way people know the gift has been received, and it's one less thing for you to do afterwards.

Yes, send the note but wait to use the gift until after the wedding.  But do check to make sure the package contained the correct items and nothing was damaged so if you need to make an exchange you can take care of it before any deadlines expire!

I sent ty notes for anything received before so they know you got it, but now have to wait on photocards (customary) for our thank yous, but instead of the generic thank you we have always received with them i am going to insert a personal note into each & every one.
