My fiance and I both have very large families, and with a smaller reception venue (only seats 250), we don't have that much wiggle room for guests. If one of our guests have a significant other that they have been dating since I sent out the save the date, I am okay with inviting them, otherwise there is no room for guests to bring guests. How do you break it to people that I don't want to invite their girlfriend that they have been dating for two weeks, or I've never met and don't want to "waste a space" with them? Is it enough to simply put just the guest's name on the invitation? I'm afraid people will show up with guests anyways....
