Order of BM and GM

I have a BM and a GM that are dating.  Origianlly we were going to have them walk together, but would it be weird for a dating couple to walk down the aisle together at another person's wedding?

Re: Order of BM and GM

  • no, why would it?

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • idk! Another bm said it would be and that made me paranoid!  I asked the BM that is dating the GM and she didn't really think anything of it until I asked her. haha I doubt any one would care.
  • Nope, happens all the time.
  • They're walking down an aisle, not having sex!
  • If it makes you feel better, we only have a BM and MOH... and they are dating!

They started dating 8 months after we got engaged.

We don't really have any other options other than to have them walk down the aisle together.

  • They will be at YOUR wedding, not trying to make it their own..

  • All true!! The other BM just made me feel self conscious about it! Thanks!!
  • Unless you plan to put your BM in a long white gown and throw a veil in her hair, I'm pretty sure everyone is going to know who the bride is... and even then, I'd venture to guess most of the guest list would still know that you are the bride.

I think it would be odd to have members of the wedding party who are dating not walk together (unless one is MOH or BM and the other does not have that distinction)...
