Hi everyone,
So I followed my gut and decided to limit the bridesmaid number to six girls (I have three sisters). It would just be too much.
I have two friends that are angry that I didn't ask them to be in the wedding. I did not ask them because I am friends with them through my maid of honor, but the four of us hang out together sometimes. The one girl asked me to be in her wedding last October and I accepted, even though I was a last minute add-in. She felt that because she asked me to be in hers, I had to ask her to be in mine. I sat down with her and spoke to her about it and kindly told her that I had to limit the size of my bridal party because of my large family and she said she understood. But she is still bad mouthing me to my MOH. How do I diffuse the situation in a nice way? I don't want things like this to put a buzzkill on such a special day.
