S/O What do YOU collect in a jar?

Years ago, when ex-FI and I lived together, we had a jar that got a marble in it everytime he left the damn toilet seat up.  When the jar got full, he had to take me out to dinner anywhere I wanted to go.  I offered to do another jar for something I did that irritated him, but he never could decide on anything that was repetative.

Anybody else done anything like that?

  • My grandfather used to empty his pockets into his change sorter daily, and used the cash to buy savings bonds for my sister and I for each of our birthdays growing up.

  • Not sure if it's the same thing, but we have a jar full of loyalty cards ... Safeway, QFC, GameStop, The Body Shop, Best Buy, REI, etc.

  • Bacon grease. Not that we use that much of it, or eat bacon more than once every couple of months. But there is nothing like an egg fried in bacon grease.

We collect the fat/grease to toss because I don't want it to clog up the sink.
