How Do You...?

FI and I have been interviewing caterers, florist and cake bakers.  How do you let a caterer  or vendor know that you chose someone else and not them?  They have been very helpful but we found someone else that we feel has more experience and feel more comfortable with on handling our wedding.

Thanks for the help!

Re: How Do You...?

  • You don't really need to unless they contact you to follow-up, and then you can just politely say something like "thank you but we've decided to go in another direction".  You don't have to search them out to tell them though.

  • If they're holding a date or you said you'd let them know, or they asked you to let them know, then contact them asap by phone or email.  If none of those apply, then I wouldn't worry about it.
