Cold breakfasts to go?

I barely get myself to work on time, so I like to have my breakfast on the go. I don't have a blender so smoothies are out, and iced coffee isn't quite filling me up. I prefer something chilled, esp since lately when I'm leave it's already creeping to 80 degrees. I was doing oatmeal in a mug for the winter, but it's time for a change. Any ideas?

I really like the Capuccino Slim Fasts.  They have a bad rap but they are actually quite delicious and filling.
  • You can get those yogurt smoothies in a bottle. They're good. That and a fruit & grain bar is pretty filling for breakfast.
  • The only thing that's coming to mind is yogurt. You could put granola on top to make it more filling.
  • Cut up fruit the night before and toss it in a tupperwear?

Yogurt with some granola on the side?

I usually stop and buy a smoothie on the way to work, so I'm out of ideas now.

  • Lately I've been drinking the V8 fruit splash drink things. Normally I keep a bag of dried cereal (chex, corn pops, or cheerios) in the car the munch on, or a bagel with honey/cream cheese.
  • Stonyfield has yogurt smoothies to go. That might work! Eat it with a banana or something?

  • Hmm, it needs to be cheap too, so I'm not sure about the slim fast. I like the yogurt idea though. I love the fruit and yogurt parfaits from McD's.

  • Frozen fruit is always a good option too. I love popping frozen berries on hot summer days.
  • They aren't super filling but I used to take one of the Danactive little drink shots if I knew I'd be eating within 3-4 hours.

Add some granola to the yogurt and fruit and it should be quite filling!
  • Not chilled, but my standard is 1/2 bagel with cream cheese.
  • you could make a quiche (really easy recipes on the internet) and eat it at room temp.  One quiche will give you 4-6 breakfasts.

  • Bagel-fuls. You can either toast them or eat them out of the fridge.
