Hi ladies! I'm in a food coma at the moment, because I went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. NOM.

My first 2 days at my internship were pretty good. I met just about everyone yesterday, including the judges, and everyone was super nice. Hopefully they stay that way after I ask 100000 questions I got to watch part of a murder trial today, so that was pretty interesting.

We're just sitting down, waiting for the Glee finale to start.

Tuck: I LOVE Dr. Who. LOVE. I'm kind of obsessed. Are you on the newest season? I plan to stalk David Tennant when we go to London on our trip next year.

mob, I think I've talked him into going to a second doctor first. I'd prefer they do tests like that first than jump straight to the big stuff. Especially considering his symptoms (same time every day, etc).

Um, so Biggest Loser is making me feel bad about myself.  I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny either.  And these people went from being huge to being smaller than me.  Apparently I have a motivation fail (yes, I understand that they work out full-time, lose weight at an unsustainable weight, have the benefit of trainers, and dietitians, but still).

Hello!

Birdie, I got something in the mail from you and I love it so much and it's on my fridge!  Also, I had no idea AJ has been fainting, but when I got my fainting disorder diagnosed, they did an echo, EKG, and tilt table test, and the tilt table is what actually presented the condition.  Maybe ask about that.

One of the places we're visiting in Peru is high yellow fever country.  If we stuck to Lima/Cusco/Machu Picchu, I probably would have skipped the vaccine, but Pucallpa (H sits on the board of an orphanage there, so we're visiting it) is in prime infection land. 

I had to re-up my Typhoid too.  Mine just wore off from our trip to Cambodia a couple years ago.  Yuck.

Yayy! I decided to send some more out.

I told AJ about that. He tells me he gets the feeling around the same time every day and today it happened when he was sitting at his desk. The other times happened when he was just standing doing something mundane like fish or brush his teeth. His doctor seems like kind of a douche, so I think he's going to look for another to see. I need a new doc as well, so it's probably good timing.

Meg -- just a Tampa update.  It looks like we're renting since we haven't yet found "our house."  We found a place on Davis Island.  I am so relieved that I can finally give an address to the moving companies!

Yay ggirl! FI's first name is Adam, but he goes by AJ. And my name is Jen, so on monograms I'm always worried it's just going to look like his personal monogram instead of our joint

Only a few people know his real name. I'm sure they'll wonder who the rando is that I'm marrying when they get my invitation.

Mica - when's the move?

We're going to rent in Chicago as well, similar reason.  We just couldn't find "our house."  The difference is we haven't found our rental either.  Hopefully FI will find one on Friday.

We won't know until tomorrow when the cultures come back from the lab if he has viral or bacterial meningitis, but the doctor said she's pretty sure it's viral.  That is good news, because if it's viral he'll get over it in a few weeks, but bacterial meningitis has a 40-80% infant mortality rate. 

They also put a picc line in his chest today for long-term IV meds, because he will need 27 (I think that's the number they said) days of antiviral medicines.  If he gets to come home in that time period, he will have a home nurse to administer the medicine.

He still had a 102 fever today, but it was able to go down a little bit with baby tylenol.

Birdie-haha I put his full name on invites because I thought the same thing. I'm sure the STD's threw people off, I put A.J. on those but I'm guessing some of the people on his dad's side didn't even know my name. His first name is Anthony, and apparently its tradition that the first born son is named Anthony, so I guess I have a son's name too.

Haha yeah I designed our STD's and definitely forgot the period's in his "A.J." Oopsies. I also forgot to put "formal invitation to follow" but if people are dumb enough to think that's their actual invitation, that's not my problem.

And don't worry, you can always call your son his middle name.

KK - definitely more prayers for Adam, that its "only" viral meningitis.  And maybe even that he can go home!  And for your entire family as well, but especially your SIL.  I can't even imagine what she's going through.
