Singing Bride: What do you think?

http://shine.yahoo.com/love-sex/singing-bride-becomes-accidental-viral-hit-185000701.html

I think very AWish and narcissistic.  Just sing at the reception if you must.  I walked by myself down the aisle and I didn't need to do anything cutesy.  And I DO think she intended the video to go viral.

But I'll give her props.  Girl can sing.

  • Someone posted this during the GM thread yesterday.  I think it's pretty weird.  I feel bad for her about her father not being there to walk her down the aisle, but I think singing as you go down the aisle is a little...off.

    But hey, her decision.

  • Oops.  I wasn't really around yesterday.  I'll go find it just to see what everyone else had to say.

  • I saw this video awhile ago and thought "Geesh is she ever going to get her butt down that aisle and will this song ever end?"

If you want to be different and sing down the aisle great, but seriously pick a shorter song or atleast shorten the song you picked.

Also, her voice is good but not amazing.

I feel bad that she lost her Dad when she was young and her Grandmother close to her wedding but this whole thing is just a bit weird to me.

  • I saw on an episode of Four Weddings that someone recorded themselves singing and she walked down the aisle to the recording.  I thought it was super sweet.  Something about singing yourself down the aisle is a little.. different.  Not sure how I feel about that.

  • No likey. She is good, but not great. And 'good' singers are a dime a dozen. Also, it was too long.

And then she sang AGAIN at the reception? Lotta self-love there, huh?

  • Blah. She's not that good.

I think she can sing better than most.  There are A LOT of people that think they can sing because they can carry a tune and they were in choir in highschool or something and are just really not that good.   IMO, she definitely has a good enough voice to where she shouldn't be embarrassed.  She's no X-tina by any means.
