Odd question but I want to win a bet

How many hairbrushes do you have?

I have been told that normal people only have two, one for blowdrying and one for brushing.

You?

Re: Odd question but I want to win a bet

  • I only use one. But I have multiple's that I never pull out!
  • I have two.  One for dry hair and one I use in the shower when there's conditioner on my hair.  But my hair's really curly, so mainly I use the one in the shower and then a comb.  They dry one is for right before taking a shower to help distribute oils in my hair.

Wow, pardon the hairbrush detail :/

  • I technically own two, but only use one.  I have a large 'normal' brush and bought a small one for travel, but now I only use the small one.

  • I only had one until about a week ago. Now I have one flat brush (that I don't use now that I bought a round one,) one round brush, and a wide-tooth comb, which is what I use most often.

    5.  One regular in the bathroom, one regular in my truck, 3 different sizes of round brushes.

  • None.  I have curly hair and haven't run an actual brush through my hair in at least five years.  I just use my fingers (and condition like a mad-woman).

  • Two, one is a small one that I keep in my purse.

  • Two! Well one now because I can't find the other one. I rarely blow dry my hair so I don't need a brush for that.

  • Well, tbh I have way more than necessary because of showing dogs (and yes, I use the brushes for the dogs on myself if need be)... but the ones I actually use regularly:

3 - 1 round for blow drying, 1 paddle for brushing/straightening, and 1 small bristle one in my purse
  • Three.
    Paddle, round and teasing comb.

    image
  • I have a comb for wet hair and then a boar bristle brush for dry hair (I rarely use it though).  A few others laying around that get no use whatsoever.
  • I use 2 but probably own a dozen.
  • I have one and one little one for my purse that I never use. I don't own a hairdryer.

    <div>Same!</div>
  • Two. A flat brushing for getting tangles out and a round brush to style my hair and give it extra body.
  • 3. Round, paddle, and a spare for the car.
  • Two.  One in the bathroom and one in my purse.

  • I have 1 but I use 4 different brush/combs when I do Jocelyn's hair.

One, and a comb.  But I'm probably an outlier since I never brush my hair.

ETA: And I only recently got it.
  • I use a comb for my wet hair and a regular brush after that. So I guess 1.5?
    image
  • Three - one for each of my bathrooms (a round and a flat) and then a small one that is my "travel" brush that just stays in my travel bag so I don't forget a hairbrush altogether.
    image
  • I think 4, but I keep them in different places. One in the bathroom, one in my travel toiletry bag, one in my gym bag, and one in my purse.

I have waist-length hair and don't want to be caught without a brush!

[QUOTE]It's always crazy to me that people can go without brushing their hair every day because it's curly. FSIL has Keri Russell-type curly hair and said she hasn't brushed it in years. Crazy I tell you@

I only comb it when I get out of the shower.  After that I rarely touch my hair.  It would either get more oily (in the summer) or more staticy (in the winter).  I have fine straight hair.
  • More than I can count.  I'm constantly losing them and I have really thick hair, so I have brushes EVERYWHERE.

  • 5.  1 in my bathroom, 1 round, 1 in my car, 1 at my work, and 1 travel.

I really only use 1 a day though.

  • In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a small round brush in the spare tire compartment of my trunk right now.
    image
  • I have a lot, but I only ever use one. And I can't figure out how to blow dry with a brush to save my life.

<div>You'd understand if you'd ever tried to brush curly hair!  Not pretty, I tell you :-)</div><div>
</div><div>But yeah, I just use my fingers when my hair is wet, and then DON'T TOUCH IT while it's drying, and fluff it a little more with my fingers when it's dry.  I've never had a problem with tangles.</div>
