Good morning Eneers!

How was your weekend? Dealing with Monday ok? How does this coming week look?

I had a pretty good weekend. Can't remember for the life of me what I did Friday. I know I went to bed at like 9 that night. I sooo sleepy. Slept in a little with H and then he had to go to work. Cleaned the house and got a lot of reading done. Yesterday, H went out with friends, so I had even more time alone. I put together our new wine cabinet all by myself, so I was pretty pumped.

  • Good morning!  Wow a wine cabinet?  You are pretty crafty!

I'm in a good mood this morning.  I didn't sleep all that much and I have a lot on my plate but I'm ready to get 'er done today.

Here is a quote that I'm running with this morning:

"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will."

  • Morning, LVB (and everyone else)!

I had a good weekend, very lazy.  Spent Saturday shopping with my little sister, then went to a friend's house Saturday night to hang out, eat pizza, watch bad reality TV, and knit.  Good times.  Yesterday I slept in and spent most of the day at my parents' house.

This week is not going to go by fast enough.  My final fitting is on Friday and my shower is on Saturday!  Too excited.  And there's a TON of work here for me today.  No fun.

Your weekend sounds a lot like mine LVB. Didn't do much except get the laundry and most of the cleaning done. Read a lot, watched football and lounged on the couch.

I have felt like crap & really tired all weekend, some of it being stress related. I don't want to go to work today, but have to push through it. Hopefully this week and the next will fly by so it will be time to go home. I am so looking forward to it and need really really bad to get away for a while.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I mean, I bought it and then had to assemble it. Usually, I just have H do stuff like that because he really enjoys it. But MIL pretty much told me that since I'm married, I never have to do that stuff again. That got under my skin, so I did it to prove that I didnt need no man or some shiit like that. lol

  • Morning ladies!  I have a sore throat this morning and I'm gonna be pissed if I'm getting sick because I'm in a wedding in Cape May this weekend and I don't want to be sick for that.  Vitamin C, here I come!

This weekend was good, Oktoberfest Friday night was a lot of fun :)  We did run into my high school & college, 6 year relationship ex-boyfriend, but luckily he didn't seem to want to chat either so I just said hi as he walked by and that was that.

The rest of the weekend was relaxing, I drove H's car a bunch because I'm determined to be totally comfortable with the stick shift, haha.

  • I worked all weekend..got off at 7 yesterday morning, got up at 10 and we went and watched football. Definately do not want to be at work today. Oh well. Hope everyone has a great week! I have class when I get off. Uck!!!
  • Ugh, TR. Yesterday, we went to Ihop looking ROUGH. Of course one if H's ex's comes in and sits next to us while we're waiting on a table. She and her group get called first. Then we do a few min later, and they seat us right next to them. I was wearing a dress and it was so cold, my teeth were chattering. I had to go sit next to H to warm up. So of course it looked like I was the insecure one and had to 'stake my clain' or something like that.

  • Good morning! I'm around for now, but not sure how long. It's going to be a crazy day at work today, I think.

Weekend was good. Saturday we went out to watch college football and I might have had a few too many alcoholic beverages. But you know.. it happens. Hehe.

Yesterday we cleaned and had the crock pot going all day. Mmmm...

I HATE that.  You always run into the exes when you want to look poised and confident, yet it always ends up being the opposite.

  • aw, LVB, that sucks, haha.  I hadn't seen this guy in years.  Actually, we bumped into him the first night that H and I met so...yeah.  But I was the one who hurt him, so it's not like I wanted to rub it in his face that I'm married or anything.  I did kind of want to talk to him and find out how he's doing, but I guess he didn't feel the same way.  Oh well.

  • Good Morning!

If you guys want to talke Ex's I think I win.  Mr Stacks high school gf that he took to prom has a daughter in Jocelyn's class.  So I get to see her twice a week and during parent planning committee meetings.  OH and there's another girl that has a daughter in Mr Stacks moms class (right next to J's class) that was totally in love with him and hates the girl in my class because she actually dated him.

So I can't just drop J off looking rough, I have to get ready and look pretty before ANY school thing now.
  • Oh and of course.  Of all the kids in Jocelyn's class - she loves Mr Stacks ex's daughter the best.  (GO FIGURE)
  • Yeah, Stacks, you win.  None of H's ex's are around here so I don't have to worry about running into them.  It's just mine that are around and this area is so small you see the same people over and over.  We saw my last ex (who was a total DB) when we went out after the rehearsal dinner.  Good times :)

  • Good morning, ladies. My daughters and I are on vacation this week, but it's going to be a staycation. I'm going to be finishing up some DIY projects around the house, the least of which is putting tile down on the stair landing and risers. I get to use my wet tile saw, so I'm pretty pumped for this.
  • Oh, poor Stacks!

  • Morning, everyone. I'm wiped. I looked at my alarm clock this morning like, "What are you? Why are you making that noise? It's not morning yet!"
  • Good morning! This is my last day of vacation. I'm planning on laying around and doing nothing. :)

  • Good morning. My weekend was interesting. I went out with friends on Saturday, threw up in public (awful!) and spent all day yesterday with the worst hangover of my life. I'm still not feeling super.
  • Oh, Jill, that's awful. Drink lots of fluids!
  • This weekend was a total bust.  The movers were supposed to come Friday and didn't show, so now I'm in the middle of a 72-hour cancellation waiting period before I can get my deposit back and book another mover.  The two things that annoy me the most about it all are that all my baking dishes are packed away and the fact that I missed a whole day (Saturday) of playing with my adorable little nephew.  The one good thing is that I hadn't called the cable to company to shut off the cable and internet yet.
  • Oh Jill that sucks!  Was it from drinking or were you sick?

How do movers just not show up? I would think that since it was their mistake, you shouldn't have to wait the 72 hrs. I would call and biitch hard core.

And you could have had even more. How on earth did your BENCH defense score 21 points?
  • It was definitely from drinking. I've been on Weight Watchers for the last 3 weeks and I guess just hadn't eaten enough that night. I drank 2 32oz bottles of Gatorade yesterday.
  • Good morning! I'm actually not that happy about it, I'm just trying to be.

H and I steam cleaned the carpet this weekend, so we put the puppy in the kennel to get him out of the way. That gave us some free time and an impromptu date Saturday night, which was fantastic, especially because we could not remember the last time we did that.

We also tossed around the idea again of moving out of state, but neither of us can find any decent jobs where we want to be. We looked at houses too and it just makes me sick how cheap they are compared to where we are now.

I don't get it either, but once I process the cancellation request (booked through Uship) the mover has 72 hours to respond.  I am currently at hour 45.  Ugggh.  I am mad but apparently not mad enough according to my mother.  There's no use playing the what if game and getting myself all bent out of shape about if there's nothing I can do about it at the moment.  KWIM?

I'm playing both college and pro fantasy this year and both my PKs outscored my QBs this week.  There is something seriously wrong with this picture.  At least I still won both my games.
