Do we need to have a shuttle for out-of-town guests?
We're having a wedding at a venue that is about 20-25 minutes away from the closest nice hotel. More than 50% of our guests are out of town, but some of them could be staying with family members that live in town.
My parents don't think we need to provide a shuttle for them to and from the ceremony, but I think it's rude/ kind of irresponsible not to, especially given they don't know the area and we will be having an open bar. Most weddings I've been to lately have offered a shuttle, and it's made things so much easier as a guest.
I offered to pay for it myself- but my Dad took that as me calling him cheap. I guess I'm just wondering if I'm being unreasonable.
