I am so ready for this week to be over all ready. I had to go to DC yesterday for a meeting so I had a lovely 12 hour day which sucked balls. I also have to take the 4 hours overtime off sometime this week, but I don't think I am going to be able to do that.

I missed my TK yesterday I hope everyone wasn't too sad without me. What does everyone have on tap today?

Today I'm going to sign the rest of the paperwork to officially be a professor. And so I can get paid. I'm excited. Then I'm going to the store to see if I can find this movie H wants for Christmas. If I remember I need to get stamps so I can finally mail off my Christmas cards. I'm behind on that.

Oh, and for anyone interested, my mom is doing much better. The docs still don't know what's wrong, but she is feeling better and able to walk around without passing out. Whatever the obstruction was, it seems to be clearing now. If only the docs could figure out what caused it in the first place! She got lucky on the weekend because she almost had to go back to the hospital, but my brother had left his backup inhaler at home and she used that, which saved her a trip to the ER.

Heya! It's lunchtime, but I'm hanging at my desk, completely not hungry. So... I did some online shopping instead. Didn't buy anything, but it's nice to look!

I really hope that TK works today.  It's been so damn annoying since Saturday.

Morning... got about 2 hours of sleep from homework, and I'm back at it. One more assignment to finish and it's pretty much a race against the clock at this point.

I hate school.

Good morning!!!

I think I'm finally caught up on my sleep. H and I had an AMAZING weekend at the Big Ten Championship - even though my boys lost the game. But we only got 4 hours of sleep after the game, then had to drive 5 hours to pick up H's grandma and take her to a play that we've had tickets to for months. It was fun, but a reeeeally long day. I was asleep last night by 8, and finally feeling like a person today.

Good morning!  Here's hoping everything works today!

I'm glad you're mom's doing well, Seshat.

I'm exhausted, but I had so much fun last night.  H and I went bowling with one of his coworkers and his CW's wife.  I had never met her before but she's very sweet.  We had a really good time, and went out for pizza afterward.  Today we're decorating the tree after work, and my sister's coming over to help/watch a movie with us.  I just wish it wasn't raining, but you can't have everything!

I'm being a total wench right now. This guy from our remote office emailed like 6 of us for help with a site. I'm ignoring him and hoping someone else takes it. I can't handle it this early. He asks for help on like every site on things he should know the answer to already. And he wants to call us, which I know from experience will result in 10 minutes of "I'm so frustrated!" and "this is just so overwhelming" and "so can you just lay it all out for me, I just don't know what to do and I'm so flustered." Every.Single.Time.

I couldn't sleep last night, so I'm exhausted.  Also, I have cramps.  Also, the a$$hole seller decided that she wants a ridiculous amount of money for her house (like double her asking price -- what?!?!), so H and I are going to continue as renters until we find another house to try to purchase.

Sesh, glad your mom is feeling better, I hope they can figure out what's going on so it doesn't happen again. 

Bay - Don't worry, the rain is ending soon, it finally stopped here around 5am after 36 straight hours of rain.  So glad that's done with.

Ha, yes don't jinx us! I shall blame KellyBrian if TK falls apart today.

So the guy I don't want to help? I asked another CW if he was taking care of it and he said that last week, the remote guy told him to "fvck off" because he didn't answer his question in a timely manner (CW was at lunch and didn't see the email, about 20 minutes passed). So now CW refuses to help, and knowing how remote guy treats people, me thinks I will refuse now too.

The seller is an idiot.  Tampa is hardly a hot market right now.  Whatever.  I guess that wasn't our house.  Or, as I said in anger yesterday, "Fine.  We'll buy it when it goes into foreclosure."

It's Tuesday evening for me.  H is at the gym, and I'm scouring Pinterest.  Someone I know (and like!) who is getting married just repinned a photo of a jar labelled "Honeymoon Fund" with a tag advising that the jar could be put out at showers and parties.  I seldom comment on other people's pins, but I had to this time!  Yikes. 

Mica, that seller is out to lunch.  I'm sorry that the house didn't work out.

It was good. Not as good as I'd hoped, but then again I have high expectations for all things related to Peter Pan. I did like Tink a lot more in this one though (normally I hate her).

Good Morning! Mica that sucks about the house. We didn't end up putting in an offer on the one I showed you all yesterday becayse the realtor was pretty sure the appraiser would kill the deal based on some repairs that need to be done. So, Lucas went and looked at another house last night that seems more promising. We're getting the pre-approval put together today so we can put an offer in on this one. buying a home sucks. It's especially hard when only one person is looking at them and everything has to be discussed over the phone before making a decision.

So, H is really stressed with finals and work right now. What can I do to make his life a little easier? I'm already doing all of 'his' normal chores for the week, but I feel like I can be doing more to help out. Any ideas?
