K, thanks in advance for feedback.

Situation; I'm wearing nylons for my wedding. How bad is it if I pick a pear of shoes that expose my toes and my nylon seam.

I am looking for a medium to low heel with an ankle strap. Worse ankles in the world and I want safety but elegance. Well all the shoes that have a closed toe are pointy. I can't stand witch shoes for my wedding. No offense to girls who like them to each their own!

Soo my question is how naughty is it to pick a pair of shoes that might have a peek a boo or such that exposes my nylon seam? 

sorry getting frustrated looking. Did find one pair by Garzia for over 100 bucks but I simply wont spend that much on a pair of shoes when i'm paying for my own wedding. Comfort is key but I also want a pair that are cute and affordable like under $50. . . .

Personally I'm not at all a fan of the look of nylons with open toed shoes.  I just think it looks weird. 

Do you not want pointy at all? Or just not the really pointy ones? I think these are cute, but I think the heel might be too high:

Why do you have to wear nylons? I was convinced I was going to wear stockings and went so far as to buy a nice pair for the wedding. Then I found open toed shoes and decided I didn't really need it. I'll be wearing a spanx body suit, most likely, for support, but no leg coverage.

I don't think anyone will see/notice the seam under a long dress.  I wouldn't wear it with a shorter skirt, but when the hem goes to the floor, I'd be fine with it.

I'd never do it, but I don't think it's that big a deal. I wouldn't be like "OMG I CAN SEE HER NYLON SEAM!!1!1!!"

Do you HAVE to wear nylons though?

Thanks for the suggestion, I find them addorable and no that isn't the witch toe point. But like you assumed I would find those two tall for the day. Especially with how I love to dance that could be really dangerous!

I already bought two pairs of nylons with a Victoria Secret gift card. They have the white lines up the back. Maybe they don't have toe seems then I will have to check. Duh!  lol. . . that would solve the whole probelm. Oh I hope I hope they don't have toe seams!!!!

Don't wear nylons if you get to open toed shoes.  It's not naughty, but it does make you look fashionably-challenged.  Get spanx if you are looking for support.

Do you absolutely have to wear hose? If so, I think there are plenty of closed-toed shoes out there that would work - just off the top of my head...

If it's strappy sandals, that's one thing. I vote no on that. Peep toe may be ok, though. I wore peep toes and my toes didn't even come up to the open area. So you couldn't see the nylons.

tights/nylons with open toes is a huge no-no.

i wore hose with comfortable closed-toe low heels. they were ballroom shoes.

Why not get nylons that are toeless? almost like dancer hose? they have the toe thong seam so you can still have the support of hose, just no toes!

I'm not sure what I thought this post was going to be about from the title, but I don't think it was rated G.

Ick on the idea of wearing open-toed shoes with nylons. I mean really.

I'm like you in that I don't enjoy wearing pointy shoes, and I have plenty of lovely round-toed pumps in my closet. I don't generally have to look that hard for them either.

Probably the best thing for you to do is google ballroom shoes. If you plan to wear them for actual ballroom competitions, you're not supposed to wear them outside, but it probably wouldn't be a big deal for one day. You can get whatever heel height you want, round toes, and ankle straps, and they're pretty comfortable because they're designed to dance in. Also ballroom shoes are much easier to break in than character shoes (for musical theater and such).
