NER but you're so helpful and move fast...how much booze?

I'm getting a booze package for unlimited consumption of 1 red, 1 white, a champagne and a single type of beer.  On our own, we're getting a keg of FI's favorite beer (for beer options) and a signature cocktail from a local restaurant.

With these options, what quantity of the signature cocktail should I get?  Enough for one per person?  I hate to run out but it's not something I can pack up and take with me (if I could I would.. yum).  Tongue out

  • Honestly, I like cocktails a lot, and I know many of my friends do as well.  I'd probably budge 1.5 per person, that way you will have extras for those that would like more than one.

  • Not everyone drinks liquor or will want the particular cocktail you've chosen (no matter how good it is!) I think you're fine budgeting 1 per person if you've got unlimited everything else.
  • I'd go with 1.5 also, but personally, I'd probably just drink wine.

  • I think it depends on your signature drink and what type of drinking crowd you have.

For example we have a big vodka crowd.   If we did a vodka based drink we would have enough for 1 per person per hour.   If we choose a whiskey based drink I would get less because we don't really have a whiskey crowd so 1-1.5 per person would be enough.

    Sounds good.

I would have enough for about 3 per guest.  Some people will take a signature drink just to try it and then more to something else.  Others will want to drink it all night.   If you only did 1 per person than you might find that most of it is gone the first hour from people just wanting to try it out and those who want more are out of luck.

  • Oh, yeah. That sounds good.  I'd up the ante!

I would aim for at least 2-3 per person.  Not gonna lie I would drink that all night probably compared to the rest of the options.

  • That drink sounds DELICIOUS.  I'm of no help here, though.  We budgeted 2-3 drinks pp because most people who attended our wedding drink, but I'm 99% certain that almost all of the money we laid down on the bar went to waste.  For some reason our drinkers decided not to drink at our open bar... lame.

  • That's my favorite drink at Outback. Nom. If I had that for free, that's all I'd drink. Honestly, you know your crowd better than we do. Some people just drink beer and some people just drink mixed drinks, it just depends.
