Matron AND Maid of honor?

I'm having trouble picking my maid of honor...I was my sisters maid of honor in her wedding and she will be around to help me prepare, but i've been best friends with a highschool buddy forever although she won't be around too too much to help me prepare. Is it tacky to have a matron AND maid of honor or should I just pick one? Thanks for any advice!!

Not tacky at all.  I think it's wonderful.

It's completely ok to have both. My sister actually had a matron of honor and 2 MOH's (me and our other sister).

I had both as well. Actually that was all I had.

I dont usually say much here (advice wise) but I think it is great to honor ask them both to be honor attendants!
