My exciting Saturday night.

It's 9:00 pm, I'm drinking wine and watching the Golden Girls... DH has been in bed  in his man cave for the last half hour or so.  Which btw is actually our bedroom, with the hurricane shutters closed to keep the light out and the new a/c set at 60 degrees on high. 

I swear since we got the new a/c he has not stopped sleeping.

What is everyonee else up to?

Hi! I just got done with dinner. I grilled burgers, and they were pretty tasty. I met a knottie today (JeanaCorina), which was neat. I recognized her from my local and NEY, where she normally posts. She was volunteering at Petsmart and FI and I wandered over to her table of cats for adoption. We were thisfreakingclose to adopting a kitteh. They were all so adorable. But it's a big undertaking and we're not sure we're ready for another aminal quite yet.

My daughter is having a sleepover here tonight, so I'm up to my eyeballs in giggles.  Jesus.  Did I giggle that much when I was 8?  What is so damn funny, anyway?

ETA:  Apparently, it's the word "butt."  That one never gets old.

FI is hanging out with some people from one of his classes.  They were supposed to move on to the bars by now where I would meet them, but that seems to be delayed until 10:00, which is sad because I've got my buzz on and will probably want to go to sleep by then...  Holy run on sentence.

And I long for air conditioning.  My landlord keeps the heat on now, and it's so hot.

I'm here, just finished poking around in the baby's room.  I keep on changing my mind and moving stuff around.  Waiting on DH to make the pizza...the dough just finished rising and I'm hungry!

I think we're going to get some Coldstone tonight.  I'd like to get out of the apt, even though we were out doing errands today.

Doooo it.  We just got back.  I had their new Oreo Cream Filling flavor and it was quite good.

We were going to go to a late movie but since we got up so early I think we're going to stay in.  Gilmore Girls is on the Tivo, we went out to dinner/ice cream, I bought two new books and a cute t-shirt, the weather is perfect, I have a shower tomorrow and I finished my race.  Life is awesome today.

Fh has the flu Dog has uti/hypothyroidism/allergies, so my day/night has been administering meds, etc.

overall the new a/c is good.. DH is not sleeping walking out to the living room for cool air... Bad news, I got use to having the bed to myself for most of the night...  I think we have to get a king size bed so I can have space.  Or at the very least separate bedding, he is such a cover hog..

Sucrets, I miss DD like crazy.  There are a couple in the suburbs on the Kansas side, but I'm hardly ever over there.

The morning after my bachelorette party/before my shower we definitely stopped in for iced coffee and Munchkins.  Mmm.

I think I'd be lost without a DD, I guess only part of America runs on Dunkin Friendly's I don't go often, Coldstone is awesome, but I don't have one nearby, closest one is 45 min away
