I've been with Marty for 4 years, have a 3 year old daughter, bought a house 2 years ago....blah blah blah...we both feel getting married is the next and right step....
issue i'm having is, we've lived together for all but like 3 days of our relationship and I've helped raise his other 2 daughters (6&7). His 7 year old lives with her mom and the 6 year old lives with us...about a week ago we went to TRY on dresses (we don't need them for another couple months) to see which style they liked. The problem is my 7 year old LOVES the traditional white flower girl dresses (as does our 6 and 3 yr old) BUT she can't fit into them. The biggest size they have in the flower girl dress is a 14...i had her try on a jr bridesmaid dress that will match the bridemaids dresses but order hers in white....but she doesn't want it, she wants the other ones....
Marty and myself are on pretty good terms with her mom...but i feel bad saying "your daughter can't fit into a size 14...and she needs to weigh less"...I would NEVER EVER say anything about her weight to her, but I'm worried that she's just gonna get bigger...and it really doesn't matter about the wedding or dresses...but now i'm worried she'll just keep getting bigger and SOMEONE down the road will make fun of her....
do i say something out of concern? or butt out?
