i will get to the point...my 1st husband passed away 13 years ago, at 1 time i was very close with his mother, we have maintained a relationship, but has grown increasinlly distant. we get together 2-3x years and were pleasant. my daughter, her granddaughter sees her maybe 5-6 year (we live 15 mins from her). i dont know how not to invite her, although i would prefer her not to be there. i have nothing against her, its just awkward. im thinking i should talk to her & see how comfortable she would be. any thoughts?
