Okay, so first off, I just started watching last night's episode, so NO SPOILERS.

This is Moldova's Eurovision song from last year.  Don't you think Paul's Sax Girl is the perfect compliment?!

I also can't stand to see Scotty's facial expressions when he sings.  They.are.awful.

Stefano sucks. I want to kick him in the teeth every time he sings. He has that "I'm stunned and don't know where I am but please love me anyway because I'm desperate" look all the damn time.

Paul's performance made me happy. He's just a happy person. I think Steven Tyler wanted a little alone time with the axaphone chick, just like he does with all the female contestants. James was my favorite, naturally. I love him.

I actually really liked Stefano's song last night... but what part are you at?  Because I have BIG opinions on one of the song choices last night LOL.

I'm not a James fan, sesh, but that's just because that's not my fave type of music.  FI was getting annoyed with the variety of the songs that everyone sang last night... I kept trying to tell him that's the beauty of American Idol!  It's not "country idol" or "rock idol"

Was Scotty before him?  I don't remember.  But I seem to be the one one who HATED it.  And normally despite looking like the MAD TV guy and his facial expressions and his "lock the door and turn the lights down low...." moments, I love him.

I hope Stefano goes home, too. He's boring. I dig Paul, but I missed his performance last night b/c I got home too late and we don't have DVR anymore. He and Casey are my favorites.

Stefano needs to be stoned for messing up that song last night! I just don't like him, but as someone said yesterday, the teeny boppers love him and will probably keep him around.

I love Paul. He already has that start quality. I like Haley too, but I don't know how long she will be around. I also really like Jacob.

Ok. Here is my rant. I am a huge Casey and James fan. They both have a good ear for music and I love that they stuck to their guns about which song they wanted to sing.
I do not see how Stefano & Paul is still there and I really do not think that Pia was going to win it all. I don't get how that was the most shocking vote off. I think to most shocking vote off was Chris Daughtry. But he is making the miusic he wants to, not tied up by the producers of Am. Idol.

My H hates the grunting noise Casey makes during every song. He makes fun of him endlessly, and he even likes him. I don't like Haley's often forced raspiness/growling. Sometimes it sounds awesome, other times she tries way too hard.

My favorites are Paul and James, but they won't win. It will likely be Stefano because tween girls are stupid when it comes to voting.

Sesh, if Stefano wins, I will slash my wrists. I might actually stop watching after Casey or some of the real talent gets voted off. 

I didn't think Pia was all that great to *watch* but she was amazing to listen to.  But your heart has to be involved too.

I can't stand James. It's like the producers were trying really hard to find a straight Adam Lambert. And I really don't think that it's fair that he got to perform w/an actual famous guitarist.

I just think that Pia had an amazing voice. She wasn't a great performer, but her voice was always perfect.

I love rock and metal, and am a Zakk Wylde (the dude that performed w/James) fan. But I still don't like James.

I dont like how nice the judges are.  Stefano was terrible.  I think they are trying to play up how good everyone is because of how awful they were last year. 

I cannot stand Haley or Stefano. 

I dont really like Jacob either.  He has amazing natural talent I think but it just not my thing.

Were the contestants or the judges awful last year?  This is the first I've watched in years.

contestants were awful.. The singers this year are great compared to them but not nearly as good as the judges make them out to be.

Yeah, the judges are a tad too "Oh, you're great!" to everyone. I think a big part of that is Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler being new, but even Randy's kinda been that way too.

Even so, I still love the new judges. The show is actually making me like JLo when I didn't before, and I've always loved Steven. I don't care how old, wrinkly, and hepatitis-y he is, he's still sexy!
