We are talking spring here. I am torn but I love it.

I think anthropologie is hit or miss - most of it's NMS but some things I really like.

I think that dress is really pretty, for a casual RD, Rosie.  I don't like maxi dresses in general, because I've never been a fan of long skirts.  But it's super cute.

See I will have to check with FMIL about the formality of the dinner. Its at a local restaurant and its not terribly formal. So I dunno. I think I need to try it on instead of staring at pictures of it.

I think I would wear every single one of those anthro  dresses except for the maxis and the strapless ones, and that's just because they don't look good on me. I do have a few weddings to attend in the next few months....

Eh, it is not my style either but you have to for sure try it on to see how it looks! I am so short that I try to hate maxi dresses since I can never wear one. But generally, I love them.

Cfas, I got a 15% coupon for my birthday, butit has to be used in the store. The store is worthless to me, I'm not schlepping to Georgetown, Tyson's, or Friendship Heights for a measly 15%.

I like maxis and think that one is cute -- but not for a shower. To me it looks like a great beach dress (or like something DH's aging hippy friends would wear to a music festival in the woods).
