Wheatgrass

I want to use boxes of short wheatgrass to hold my escort cards.  Does anyone have any idea where to buy these?  Or would it be a better idea to try and grow it?  Has anyone grown their own wheatgrass before?  Searching on the internet so far I've only seen seeds or wheatgrass juice/pills/powder.

Do you have a health food store near you, or a Whole Foods or something?  They may have it.

Yeah, my local organic/healthfood grocery store sells it in little pots, but it's kind of pricey (at least here). My friend grows it, though, and says it grows like a weed and you can't possibly muck it up. It might be cheaper to buy the seeds and grow it on your own, if you have the time and patience to do it.

We bought our flowers to plant two weeks ago at a local greenhouse and they had rows of wheatgrass.

A pet supply store?  I'm not sure if it's wheatgrass that people buy for their cats to snack on.  Whole Foods.  I know Jamba Juice using alot of wheatgrass, maybe if you have one in your area you could ask who their supplier is.

Fred Meyer has it in the produce section if you have one of those, it's cheaper than at some pet stores like Mud Bay.
