Flower Girl's Dress: Who Pays?

Hey ladies! I was wondering if you could give your opinions on who should pay for the flower girl's dress. Do the bride and groom pay for it? Or do the flower girl's parents pay?

    Our flower girls mom paid for the dress, but I also let her pick out exactly what she wanted at a price she was happy with.

    We are going to see what happens when the day comes to get the dress, I have a feel though that we will be paying for it.

    Depends. I am in a situation where I don't know what to do! Our 'flower girl' (she is not tossing petals, just walking with our nephew) is FI's daughter but she doesn't live with us. I honestly cannot afford to pay for it but I do not want/think it's necessary for her mother to pay for it since I hate her mother, haha. I believe FI or FI's mom are going to pay.

    I'm paying for mine, but I'm paying for all the WP attire.  If you plan to have the parents pay, you need to ask them for a budget in advance, same as for other WP members.  Or just let them pick out a dress themselves.

    I paid for my fG's dresses. They were very reasonably priced and their parents have done a ton for my FI & I. They never let me pay them for anything so this was the only way I could actually do that. So im doing their hair as well as a thank you to the parents

    We're paying because the flower girl dress that coordinates with the BM dresses is almost as costly! I think if you're picking the dress it's nice to pay or atleast offer.

    Her parents paid for the dress. I didn't give any constraints in terms of color or anything else -- her parents had full reign to get whatever they wanted. If she hadn't been IN the wedding, they still would have paid for her dress so it never occurred to me that I would pay for it.

    Parents are paying. But I also just said she could wear whatever the mom deemed appropriate.
    If I wanted her to wear a particular outfit, I would have paid.
