Good afternoon...

Anyone around?  I'm relaxing this afternoon.  I swam yesterday, and will go again tomorrow, but today is an off day for me.  I need to do some cleaning up around here, but I don't wanna.

Re: Good afternoon...

  • I'm here, kind of. Just waiting for the fiance to arrive home! I should probably be cleaning too, but I'm being lazy instead. It's way more enjoyable.

Loopy, is that Mount Everest behind you in that picture? That may be a silly question...

  • Not a silly question.  My sig pic is actually in the Alps.  We went to Italy (and a few days in the alps on the French side) for our honeymoon.
  • I'm here. I left work a little early to come home and rest since I am sickly but have to travel for work on Sunday. I hate flying when I feel icky. But now that I'm home I just want to catch up on my reality tv on the DVR instead of sleeping. Plus I have one more thing to get for the food swap so I don't want to get too comfortable before I go out later.

  • Hey.. I just got home after leaving Chef  for 8 hours (normally I stop by for lunch/).  He did good, except for ripping the bottom off the box spring.  I'm not sure why he did that?

DH is working late, so I'm on my own again tonight.  I cooked a thanksgiving type meal last night.  I think I'm going to a turkey-mayo-cranberry on Bunny white bread for dinner.  I normally add stuffing to the sandwich, but I didn't make any last night.   I can't wait.

  • Stage - where are you going for your overnighter?  Anywhere fun?

Button - sorry you're feeling sickly.  I hope you feel better soon.  Travelling sick is NO fun.  I hope I can get through our trip week after next without coming down with anything.  But 3 airplane flights and all those people and germs may conspire against me.  I'm afraid of catching a cold cause there's so little I can take to combat it right now.
  • Yum Lynda - I LOVE open faced turkey sandwiches.  I always use white bread bottom, mashed potatoes, turkey, gravy over the whole the thing.  Delish.
  • that sucks SparklyCry

  • KS - that's annoying.  Insurance companies are usually hard to deal with.  I need to call mine, but I'm procrastinating it cause I don't want to deal with it.
