Which bustle option (PIP and poll)

So I posted earlier about having my first fitting, and it went great.  The seamstress came to my mom's house, which was really nice, and we just pinned it for hemming today.  At my next fitting in 3 weeks we're putting in the bustle.  I need your opinions on which bustle I should go with.  I think I have a favorite, but just wanted some votes before I choose. 

The first few pics are of me in my dress when we first got it in, for reference to the style.

Front view (I'm on a pedestal, and there won't be nearly as much tulle on the bottom once it's hemmed 6 inches!)

The next two pictures were taken at my fitting today, and show the two types of bustles.  Obviously these were just hastily pinned, so it will be tweaked and look much neater when it's done.

Mer... I don't like either, tbh, but 2 is better-ish.

I think those were my only options since you can't sew into tulle.

OP, I like the underbustle better, but I'm assuming that it will be cleaner looking.

I think that #1 shows off the back of the dress much better than #2.

I like number one. In my humble opinion, the underbustle hides where the lace transitions to tulle so it looks kinda haphazard. But, it could totally just be because these are quick "this is sorta how it will look" demonstrations.

Why yes, yes it is.  Unfortunately, H and I slept until 3:30 this afternoon, so we haven't even made it 12 hours of awake-time yet.  Oops.

I definitely vote for #2! 

And I disagree with gg and think that it'll show off the dress more than the overbustle.

Thanks for the votes.  I liked the underbustle better too, but my mom and BM who were with me today both liked the overbustle a million times better, so I was conflicted.  Thanks for the validation!
