Photobucket question

My sig is empty because my photobucket account is saying I have surpassed my max bandwidth. Say what? I have 6 images in the account and the only ones that I "share" or use links for are for my sig here. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong/need to be doing?

I'd just use tinypic

They show up fine for me.

I've heard that it sometimes happens if people copy your photo and use it in their bios.

oooh that happens to me. I don't have many posts here, but on other forums I have thousands and thousands of posts... on one forum I am notorious for my 30,000 posts. And for every post, that's one time the image is being used. So if I use an image from photobucket for my signature on that forum, I exceed bandwidth immediately and photobucket shuts down my account for the rest of the month.

On here, it looks like you have 5,079 posts. That's 5,079 times that image alone is being used, not including other images you are using and anyone else who might be using your images.

For signature images, I advise using tinypic.com or even imageshack. Photobucket, though easy to use and very helpful, can be a pain in the arse when it comes to signature and avatar images.
