Ok, so we are planning on having a wedding that would probably allow for about 75 people. My mother, grandmother and father-in-law, don't understand that that means that not EVERY cousin will be invited. I was even thinking of not inviting my two uncles, because they were mostly absent in my childhood. Also, with my fiance, his father is in a mariachi group, and from what I hear, he invited them all and had them play at my fiance's older brothers wedding. I don't want mariachi music at my wedding, and don't plan to invite people I don't know, but is that being too rude?
Please let me know what you think, I have never been to a wedding except for once when I was really young. Both our parents had court house weddings, and well, I just don't have anyone personal to guide my logic off.
We are paying for the entire event, and aren't very wealthy.
