Wedding day time line

Hello! I know I have a while before my wedding but since I have been meeting with all my vendors and they like a general time of when they will be working that day I am trying to come up with a time line, and suggestions or ideas would be very helpful! We believe ceremony is going to start at 2:30 We will be seeing each other before hand for pictures and we have to end the reception at 10 pm to be out and cleaned up by 11 (also how long does the dancing usually occur for?) TIA

A typical reception is 4 hours, plus 1 for cocktail hour.  If you don't have to do any pics after, you can attend your own cocktail hour or just skip it.  How far is your ceremony from the reception?  How long is the ceremony?  Are you doing a recieving line after the ceremony?I'm thinking2:30-3 ceremony3-3:30 travel3:30-4:30-cocktail hour4:30-reception starts, introductions, maybe a toast or something5:00 dinner starts6:00-8:30 dancing, remaing reception traditions

Thanks! We will be all in the same area for ceremony and reception. We will probably only take a few pics after for the family that wasnt there before and then attend the cocktail hour for some fun. I have been trying to come up with something..this is what I have so far but it seems off to me. 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm Wedding Ceremony 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm pictures with additional family 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Cocktail Hour 4:15 Bride & Groom to mingle with guests – no receiving line 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm Guests make way to tables 5:05 pm – Bride and Groom Grand Entrance 5:10 pm –Bride and Groom First Dance 5:15 pm -- Toasts Best Man, Maid of Honor, Father of the Bride,Bride & Groom Thank You Toast 5:25 pm -- Bride, Groom, bridal party & family begin dinner buffet 5:35 – 6:45 pm Dinner Buffet Served 6:30 pm – 6:45 pm Photos: Bride & Groom at Sunset – if weather permits 7:00 pm Cake Cutting 7:05 pm Father/Daughter Dance 7:10 pm Mother/Son Dance 7:15 pm Dance floor open Money Dance?
