We have been invited to a joint Batism for our friends' new baby boy and our friend's sister's new baby girl (our friend and her sister had their babies a week apart from each other). The invitation indicates that a lunch reception will follow.
We are not regilious and have never been to a Batism before, therefore we are unfamiliar with customs of these things. I'm guessing it is just a batism ceremony in their church and lunch afterwards? I'm also guessing that we should bring a gift.
Can anyone fill me in?
